Michael Sickler: served in multiple Operations and R&D Engineering roles at Seaspine (formerly Integra Lifesciences) Orthobiologics Division. He and his team successfully launched multiple DBM products to market, such as Evo3/c, Connexus and Accell TBM. Before his work at Integra, Michael held multiple senior technical positions at IsoTis and GenSci OrthoBiologics; a combined 17 years of experience in human tissue processing.
Michael left Seaspine to partner with Nol and Nienke in creating a unique company that will support the growing demand for a combination of human tissue and synthetic based products
Nienke de Roode: Material Science engineer by training, specialized in materials for medical use. 13 years of experience in process and product development of synthetic bone void fillers with Cam Bioceramics and Isotis, building on the product portfolio. Working together with PolyPid and DSM on calcium phosphate product solutions. 9 months of experience on Medical Device Regulations at Xendo B.V. gave her additional knowledge on how to bring medical devices to the market with the right quality and regulatory strategies. Together with Nol and Mike, she is eager to built their own product portfolio for Access2Bone
Nol van de Mortel: 10 years at Cam Bioceramics (COO then CEO), rebuilt the facility, made it comply with regulations, revamped product development capabilities, built strong relations with clients of whom Michael was one. Michael approached Nol to be the organizer of the start up to do what he did at Cam, build an efficient organization that passes the FDA inspections without comment.
